I met with a new client a couple of months ago who was embarrassed because he didn’t know anything about his business finances as his Wife had always been doing the bookkeeping for him. The problem now was, they were separating and he really needed someone to take over his bookkeeping and explain things to him. We now prepare and lodge his BAS on his behalf and sit down with him and explain to him his Profit and Loss each quarter. The transition has been quite easy as his Wife used Xero, so as soon as we sent an invitation to ourselves, we were able to log in and start his bookkeeping straight away.
He just didn’t want the headaches that comes with bookkeeping. He wanted his life back and just wanted to concentrate on what he knows best and that is working in his business without the bookkeeping stress.
